Garnish with fresh cilantro, scallions, jalape\u00f1os, or cheddar cheese and enjoy a nourishing lunch or dinner. <b>Serves: 9<\/b><\/p>\n<h4>Ingredients<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Olive oil spray<\/li>\n<li>2 lbs 99% lean ground turkey<\/li>\n<li><sup>1<\/sup>\/<sub>2<\/sub> tsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1 small onion, chopped<\/li>\n<li>3 garlic cloves, minced<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp chili powder, to taste<\/li>\n<li>2 bay leaves<\/li>\n<li>1\u2009\u2009<sup>1<\/sup>\/<sub>2<\/sub> tbsp cumin<\/li>\n<li>1 tsp oregano<\/li>\n<li>2 15 oz cans white northern or navy beans, rinsed and drained<\/li>\n<li>15 oz can pumpkin puree<\/li>\n<li>4.5 oz can chopped green chiles<\/li>\n<li>2 cups low sodium chicken broth, check labels for GF<\/li>\n<li>Kosher salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n<li>Optional toppings: chopped cilantro, red onion, chives, Greek yogurt, or low-fat sour cream.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Preparation<\/h4>\n<p><b>Slow cooker<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat a large skillet over high heat and lightly spray with oil.<\/li>\n<li>Add turkey; while cooking, break up turkey into small pieces until white, about 5 minutes. Transfer to the crock pot.<\/li>\n<li>Add oil to the skillet, then onions and garlic. Saut\u00e9 about 3-4 minutes; add cumin and saut\u00e9 another minute. Transfer to crock pot.<\/li>\n<li>Add beans, pumpkin puree, green chilis, broth, chili powder, oregano, and bay leaves.
